November 2017 saw very successful editions of Systems & Components and AGRITECHNICA come to a close. With 458,000 visitors, more than 110,000 international, over seven days, AGRITECHNICA has proven once again to be the leading international tradeshow for agricultural machinery. The majority of visitors were interested in crop and animal production as well as forest/woodland and field vegetables and special crops.
71% of exhibitors at AGRITECHNICA expressing their overall assessment as “very good / good”. With more than 2800 exhibitors from 52 countries, AGRITECHNICA has continued to rise on an international level with Italy having the second largest presence after Germany with more than 350 exhibitors. Other top exhibiting countries include China, the Netherlands, Turkey and France.
As a B2B meeting spot for professionals in ag machinery and related sectors focusing on the areas of hydraulics, engines, drivetrains, cabs, spare and wear parts and electrics and electronics, Systems & Components 2017 was a huge success. With more than 700 exhibitors and 100,000 professional visitors at Systems & Components, 85% of exhibitors expressed their overall view as either “good” or “very good”.
2017’s theme – “Connectivity – Stay with us, stay connected!” was the perfect link between the past, present and most importantly, the future. Connectivity is important not only when looking at the systems and components that go into machinery, but also at a larger level when looking at the ultimate connections between people and companies. DLG will continue with this visionary approach as it faces new markets in the near future. As Systems & Components enters a new stage, remembering to look at the basics to make the ultimate leap to the future is key.
The Future Lounge of Systems & Components held daily roundtable discussions, company spotlights as well as keynote speakers touching on the important topics of Smart and Predictive Maintenance, HMI, Electrification, Materials and Democratic Engineering.
