Forum at AGRITECHNICA ASIA

Online visitor registration for AGRITECHNICA ASIA, taking place at BITEC Event Grounds in Bangkok from August 22 – 24, is open! The second edition of the tradeshow will present a compelling forum program.

Some of the highlights include the International Rice Research Institute’s (IRRI) sessions on “Precision farming in rice cropping”, “Sustainable rice production” and “Crop establishment” as well as speaker Anne Elings, Crop Physiologist at the Wageningen University and Research (WUR), who will share her expertise for greenhouse crop production.

There will also be an inaugural international horticultural forum, “Horticultural Produce Quality”, held by the International Society for Horticultural Science (ISHS) where scientists and technologists will present their latest innovation research results. Another highlight of the event will be a daily representative of the German Machinery Ring Association who will talk about the shared use of ag machinery to promote the mechanization of farms while keeping costs down.
