On June 29, DLG Italia organized an event for the Italian press in Bologna regarding the latest developments of the next AGRITECHNICA and specifically those of the specialist international platform, Systems & Components.

Journalists Francesco Bartolozzi for “Il Contoterzista” of New Business Media, Cristiano Spadoni for Macgest and Agronotizie, Giovanni de Luca for “Allevatori Top”, Davide Giordano for Macchine Agricole of Tecniche Nuove and Mattia Trevini for Mad, participated in the event.

Through his presentation, Raffaele Talarico highlighted the location of the major companies in the various halls as well as the concepts that will be presented through the scientific-technical program.

If the word that best summarizes the concept of Systems & Components 2017 is “Connectivity”, a phrase to summarize the technical program is “less is more”. This is because the daily topics are so detailed that it is necessary to delve deeper and take a moment to reflect on the direction of technical evolution, what technical possibilities exist today and how to use them. The different themes addressed every day are “Smart Maintenance”, “Alternative Drive Systems”, “Human Machine Interface”, “Materials” and “Corporate Engineering”.

The main theme of each day is elaborated upon through a variety of company spotlights, events and “Out of the Box” speakers coming not only from the agricultural mechanization sector. Sometimes you have to go out of the comfort zone to see where the future is headed.

“Beyond the components” is the thought behind the ideas and concepts presented through the technical forum as explained by Talarico. This is what the largest tradeshow in the world for agricultural mechanization has to offer – a view across borders. Looking forward while remaining rooted in the origins.

The roots of engineering, or more specifically, the “ABCs of Engineering”, is another topic that Systems & Components touches. The internationalization of the tradeshow offers the chance to look at the global market and not just the European reality. A large slice of the global market is composed of emerging countries where connectivity is not a main topic yet – the focus is still on efficiency and reliability.

A green world and related solutions. “Green Future – Smart Technology” is the main theme for AGRITECHNICA. Sustainability and respect of the environment – these are needed for a future that respects the earth and guarantees economic security to farmers.

All of this and much more is in the works. AGRITECHNICA is waiting for you to appreciate and experience the latest in agricultural mechanization and discover with your own eyes what this leading tradeshow has to offer.

The doors are opening and the countdown is on. Soon we go on stage.

The star is…agricultural mechanization!
