“Italians take the Field – Technology and Innovation in Horticulture”

A “Made in Italy” Project

“Experience technology live” is the main theme of this edition of INTERVITIS INTERFRUCTA HORTITECHNICA in Stuttgart from November 27^th to 30^th, 2016.

Inside the trade show in Hall 1, you can take part in the special show “Italians take the Field – Technology and Innovation in Horticulture”, made possible thanks to the collaboration of Italy, a partner country, and DLG Italy, which organized and coordinated this event.

For the very first time inside a trade show hall, spectators will be able to observe live the entire horticultural production chain from soil tillage to harvesting. There will be a total working space of 300 sq. meters , divided into four working beds. There will be eight processes demonstrated over the course of two hours: burying, harrowing, bed-forming, mulching, sowing, transplanting, weeding and harvesting. The show will take place every morning from 10:00 to 12:00 for the duration of the trade show with a German technical commentator. The project was made possible thanks to the collaboration of four of the leading machinery manufacturers of the sector, Ortomec, Argo Tractors-Landini, Sfoggia and Forigo, whose machines will perform the various processes.

This world-class team is bringing their experience and professionality together to demonstrate the latest technologies in the horticultural field. The large amount of information available will directly involve spectators from the beginning of the show. In addition, they will be able to elaborate on the processes demonstrated with the key players of the show when, after the live exhibition, they will be present in their booths on the border of the demonstrative field.
